What a fantastic variety of meaningful music. Born out of the 60's, this father and son duo belt out some powerful songs, passionate lyrics, and extended soulful grooves. Decades of experience, Matthew Goodwin's muti-talents shine.....I am unable to determine what instrument he is more gifted with. The muscians, the music, the lyrics all portray an honest and truthful quality of their relationships, personalities, and talents. What a refreshing recording......something for someone who seeks embedded quality and shuns the shallow stuff.

initially when i heard the two minutes of each song that cd baby allowed me to listen to i was smitten with the compact, powerful, passionate grooves and smart arrangements that were tight without sounding freeze dried. the next day i heard myself singing follow my tears, hell's bustin loose and would you believe, in my head. these three cuts would be hits on any national release by any national artist in any genre. that is a simple fact. listen and you will agree. i'm glad that the national record companies go belly up without their film divisions. the internet is where you will find real artists, young and old, cutting edge and baby boomers who know how to write and play with authentic soul. nap daddy's c.d. is strong, pure and straight from the heart. once some of these songs get from their hearts to your head good luck getting them out!

I saw and heard these songs performed at Eaton Chapel in Beloit Wi on March 2, 2008. I loved it ..first listen for me....bought the CD and play it 2-3 times a day. Can't get the songs out of my head. The lyrics are written with deep feeling that anyone could relate to. I was the co-owner of a small record store..COOP Tapes and Records in the 70's and 80's. I remember these musicians and was a fan back then. I knew before I heard this music it would stand on it's own. Thanks Matt and your very talented boys! Great to see Mac perform again too.Can't wait to see more....I wish you all the best!!!
